New video today. Good old fashioned LAMP!

It’s been a while. I got a Raspberry Pi for Christmas. I haven’t really been doing anything with it. So, I hooked it up to the TV next to the Chromecast. I bought a noisy keyboard and a mouse and jacked the font up. Maybe I can sit on the couch and do a little code. However to do a little code, I need a web server. So, I’ve spent a couple of weeks working the kinks out of a video that I wanted to record.

The video is how to Install a LAMP server on a Raspberry Pi. It’s about 45 minutes long and four parts. I start with a fresh install or the Raspberry PI OS and, by the time I finish, install WordPress on it. It’s pretty simple to follow along. You can see all the commands that I use the entire time. I’ve spent a couple of days on it working out all the kinks. It’ll work on yours as well.

This is kind of my New Year Resolution. So, here’s to hoping I can get into some kind of routine. I haven’t been doing nearly enough nerdy stuff. I’ve been too distracted by work and doing non-technical stuff. My hope is that I can possibly get into a routine of uploading a video or two a week.

Yes, I know it’s been a while, but there is a new version of Windows that might be coming out in a few days. Plus, I haven’t touched HTML in years. Running the website will make an excellent distraction. I can’t remember the last time I went command line.

Granted. I’m not affiliated with Raspberry Pi or WordPress. I just think that they are great projects. So, you can go ahead and check out my video tutorial on how to build a LAMP server on a Raspberry Pi.
